Directions to Glin Castle :

Directions from Kerry.

If driving to Glin from Tralee.

Follow signs for N69 and Limerick. Next major town is Listowel and signs will be for Tarbert, car ferry and Limerick. Next town is Tarbert (9 miles from Listowel) and at the T intersection in Tarbert turn right for Limerick. This is all still the N69. 4 miles from Tarbert is Glin. You will drive with the river on your left and our wall on your right. When the wall turns right at a small road as the houses start, turn right and the castle gates are at the top of this road.

If driving from Killarney.

N22 from Killarney to Farranfore. N23 from Farranfore to Castleisland. N21 from Castleisland to Abbeyfeale. In Abbeyfeale turn left for Athea. In Athea town at T intersection turn right, over bridge and then left for Glin. You will come down the hill into Glin and at O'Shaughnessy's pub turn left and you will see the castle gates directly ahead.
